Dear Brother Nowell,

This shooting in So. Carolina is still being discussed on the radio, and the lesson that you taught me is our attitude toward the criminal in this tragic incident. You made me realize that thoughts of revenge toward the person who commits the crime is wrong.  When I imagined that I could kill the person who stole thousands of dollars of things from you, you said that we are to love the evil person and pray that he would repent of his wrong deeds.

Ehephians 4:32 tells us to be kind to one another; tenderhearted, forgiving one another . even as God for Christ's sake has forgiven us. 

Indeed, the dinner where you honored my faithful presence in traveling to Tennesee with your convoy, was truly memorable. THANK YOU for your thoughtfulness and kindness that has had a transforming influence in my attitude. I'm grateful
