NOVEMBER 5, 2011, SERMON TRANSCRIPT

By Lawrence A. Nowell

Townsend, Tennessee

l.) “If we preach won’t you listen to God’s heart? If we preach a little bit longer, won’t you listen?” The Obedient Church of God message is going to all the world by the internet, www.theworldtomorrow.org and 1stcenturychristian.com.

.) TOCOG is the only church in the world that is teaching people to keep the Sabbath around the world. It is the “short work” of Romans 8:28.

.) The Obedient Church of God is the Philadelphia Church of the first century. We are teaching that the New Moon Day is a day to worship Father and we are to do no work as a new month begins.

.) Last week the new moon occurred on Friday evening so the seventh-day Sabbath Was the New Moon Day, a time of rest and of worshipping Father.

.) Services today begin with prayer as we face the north heavens, raise our hands toward Father’s throne room, bow our heads and close our eyes.  Mr. Lawrence A. Nowell leads.

.) Three songs are sung to praise Father and Yeshua.

.) No matter who we vote for among political parties, they’re all the same. It doesn’t matter if you are in the United States and you elected a Democrat or Republican.

.) It’s ridiculous to have two political parties representing 307 million people. It’s impossible to accurately represent them. It’s all fixed. They just switch sides as they choose to.

.) Remember, the people voted for the Democrats and they still get a $3 trillion deficit. And people are losing their homes.

.) Hallelujah! Maranatha! “The Lord cometh!” God’s Kingdom comes. That is our only hope.

.) An update on the Holy Hill is that in order to keep the water under control on the 2.53 acres of hillside that’s been plowed up and dug up, TOCOG put in 80 feet of culvert  in the ditch down in the bottom, which was done for the city for free. TOCOG wants to keep this place under pristine condition.

.) Water lines are being put in now for the trailers and that’s a big job because the trailer at the top is located at 900 feet, so that’s quite the challenge for the backhoe not to fall over and kill the driver or kill Mr. Nowell who is right beside it.

.) Once the bucket on the big 20 ton tractor came down on Mr. Nowell’s foot, and amazingly didn’t hurt it.  Amazing.

.) Another time Mr. Nowell got his thumb caught between the sides of the ladder that folds in half. It was squished to a quarter of an inch from its regular one inch size. It was brought back to life but it still tingles. That could have been devastating to the thumb.

.) Another thing that happened was the water line that supplies the Holy Hill got torn up. It was ripped out of the ground and got bent up, but it wasn’t torn in half. That was a blessing. The water line still has to be replaced.

.) TOCOG got an extension for its purchases for land for the parking lot, so we will close on the parking lot on November 17th and we might even close earlier.

.) TOCOG has a flat piece of land right beside the road that will be used also for a meeting hall. So this is good news. No one will have to climb the hillside.

.) Climbing that hillside is very good exercise. Before Mr. Lawrence A. Nowell moved to Tennessee, he weighed 210 pounds and now Mr. Nowell is down to 178, which is a loss of 32 pounds. It’s better to be lighter because people who are underweight live longer years.

.) In the nursing homes, most of the people are on the lighter side and that’s why they are still alive. So TOCOG urges our friends and members to get their weight down and they can lose a pound a week by just cutting out 500 calories a day.

.) In a pound of fat on your body there are 3000 calories. Therefore, if 500 calories are cut out a day times seven days, it’s 3500 calories you are losing. A pound a week is lost without having to climb or do any exercise. So Mr. Nowell says to stop stuffing your face to lose weight. It’s that simple.

.) There weren’t any fat people in the concentration camps. There aren’t any fat ones in the Sudan where they are all starving. It’s a simple matter of eating less, using self-control.

.) People need to eat properly and exercise to be well. Those who are 100 pounds over weight will end up with diabetes for sure.

.) An excellent person who practices nutritional health is Ozelia Welling who looks very young. And she is very young. She is able to climb up the Holy Hill without huffing and puffing. Ozelia is in great shape. She will be able to teach others to eat properly.

.) There are physical laws and when we follow them, we can be an example for others.

.) So when Mr. Nowell gets down to his target of 155 pounds, he is going to stay there throughout the year. And Mr. Nowell is much faster at 155 pounds.

.) We are not to be unfruitful, which means we don’t have any works. We are to follow the Bible’s days, the Bible’s ways, and bear fruit.

.) TOCOG is the only church in the world that is following the Sabbath day in all of the world. That makes The Obedient Church of God the Philadelphia Church, and that makes all the other churches “sinisters,” sinning churches that won’t be in the first resurrection.

.) Anyone who practices a lie, by teaching people they can observe the Sabbath day on the sixth day in half the world, and wait until Christ returns to correct this error, are “sinisters.”

.) Revelation 22:15 says, “But outside are…whoever…practices a lie.” If you live in Australia or the Philippines, and observe the Sabbath on the sixth-day, you are practicing a lie!

.) And worse than that is the minister who tells people to practice a lie. Go to Revelation 21:27 where it states, “There shall by no means enter anything that…causes…a lie.” It’s a lie to say it’s fine to wait for Yeshua to return while you keep the Sabbath on the sixth-day. Unbelievable! But true. There are ministers out there that say it is just fine.

.) There are the same ministers who are probably going to have their Turkey-god Ra-Osiris Day coming later in November. And these ministers will tell people it’s just fine.

.) Mr. Lawrence A. Nowell is telling people that it is not just fine. Turkey-day is pagan and it’s always been a pagan day. Christians cannot learn the way of the Gentiles, heathenism. And if the minister says no, he is a liar. He is a “sinister” who is causing people to sin!

.) Satan, as the serpent, said to Eve, “Did God really say that?” There are ministers who are saying you shouldn’t have the Turkey Day, and ask, “Did God really say that?”

.) Read in Deuteronomy 12:32, Don’t add any days to God’s commands.

.) Galatians 1:6 tells that you are cursed if you add anything. Verse 9 repeats, so you are double cursed if you add anything.

.) Did God really say that? Yes He did. So stop listening to the Devil minister. Stop listening to the serpent who is saying that you can have Turkey-day because God didn’t really say that. Wrong. He did say that! Don’t you dare add any days to the Torah. That goes for Sky-Father’s Day, which is June 19-22, whichever the longest day of the year is. The same goes for Mother-goddess Day, the mother of all gods.

.) You want to be part of Father’s world? Fine. If you keep these days, into the Lake of Fire you go, and not even into the second resurrection. Right into the Lake of Fire you go because you are unteachable. You refuse to be taught.

.) TOCOG is teaching the message that each of us has to have a relationship with Father and we’ve got to build trust with Father so He knows we are going to follow all of His ways. Trust must be earned, it has to be demonstrated.

.) Now if Father can’t trust a person, he or she won’t be in the First Resurrection. If Father can ‘t teach a person now, then that person can’t teach others. Each of us has to learn how to live right so we can set a right example for others.

.) As for caring for the sheep, TOCOG wants to save them from hell, we want to save them through Yeshua’s words, the Bible teachings, and we want to save them from the Lake of Fire.

.) We read in Revelation that if we live or practice a lie, such as observing a sixth-day Sabbath in Australia, we won’t enter the Kingdom. We’ll not be in the First Resurrection nor the Second Resurrection, but we’ll end up in the Lake of Fire. That’s how serious this is.

.) Yet, “sinisters” have people “bamboozled” (confused), thinking that they can have the Sabbath day on the sixth-day of the week, or that they can add pagan days when the Bible clearly says we are not to learn the way of the Gentiles, not to learn the way of the heathen.

.) Look in any encyclopedia and find that Sky Father’s Day, Mother-goddess Day, and Turkey Day are all pagan heathen days.

.) Mr. Lawrence A. Nowell is here to help people to turn their hearts to the Father so they can earn the trust of the Father. Then Father can use them in the First Resurrection so they can care for others. They can give them friendship and forgiveness and loyalty, if they repent.

.) But if they don’t repent, we can’t be friends with them. We can’t approve of them. It’s the same as acquiescence. By keeping silent we are guilty. We are as guilty as they are by keeping silent in our congregation.

.) When we know something is wrong and a minister is preaching sinful ways, and we keep quiet, we are guilty also.

.) At the Geneva Convention after World War II, if anyone didn’t report the atrocities which happened in Germany, they themselves were prosecuted.

.) There were individuals that were prosecuted in the Nuremberg Court in Bavaria for not doing anything. Not only were the perpetrators prosecuted, but the people that knew about it and didn’t do anything, were prosecuted.

.) People can’t have silent acquiescence (approval) and say they aren’t going to stir anything up. They are just going to keep silent. They can’t do that. Because then they are just as guilty.

.) When people repent, then we can give them friendship and forgiveness, and take care of them. But if they refuse to repent and remain stubborn, and hard-headed, we have to keep on exhorting them until they repent.

.) Once a person comes into The Obedient Church of God, we will take care of you. In Pakistan there are over 150 members who kept the Feast of Tabernacles. Their younger population is exploding. Their group is full of children, and their flocks and herds are blessed.

.) The point is TOCOG is taking care of them.

.) And we have to learn to speak up and take care of ourselves and other members, and not give silent acquiescence to the minister’s errors.

.) We want to be next to God’s heart. Mr. Lawrence A. Nowell, humbly, is building a nest next to God’s heart where we all will all be safe, because, we, The Obedient Church of God, is following every jot and tittle of God’s Word. And we’re building a nest close to God’s heart where each of us can always be safe.

.) We’ll house you in that nest of The Obedient Church of God, and TOCOG won’t allow any member to have a “cheating heart” and cheat God out of His proper Holy Day by moving the Sabbath day to the sixth-day in half the world. There won’t be 4,000 different denominations.

.) It is very important for us to know that if we were chosen of the many that are called, we will be faithful; that we will be like the wise virgins who got extra oil for their lamps. Remember, fifty percent of the virgins weren’t faithful to get extra oil. We need to do more than the basics. It’s important to follow every jot and tittle of God’s Word so that we have extra oil in our lamps.

.) The Obedient Church of God’s incorporation date was June 30, 2009, and its press release was on July 22, 2009, so we made a new congregation in town.

.) TOCOG is doing a work for the next ten years and TOCOG wants others to be part of it. They should not be squabbling about any days with any minister or other denomination.

.) For the Living Church of God and the United Church of God, their ministers have not changed anything since 1972, and they are causing their members to sin. They are telling them it’s all right to go to a restaurant on the Sabbath day and hire people and pay them for the food and service. Yet the Sabbath-keepers according to scripture are not allowed to buy or sell on the Sabbath, nor on the New Moon Day.

.) So don’t have a cheating heart and cheat on God’s ways.

.) Now Purim, which is not a holy day, was a big party day in celebration of victory of Jews in the days of Esther. Haman was hung while Mordecai was saved. The memorial of this was honored with a party. This is remembering an Israelite way, not adding a pagan day.

.) Watch out for ministers with cheating hearts that try to say they can sprinkle holy water on a pig and it turns into a cow. Today they will sprinkle holy water on a turkey and the turkey-god becomes a sacrifice, as a center piece on people’s tables, and they call it Thanksgiving to God!

.) The turkey is the same as the goose that gave its life to the hunter for its young to hide and escape. When Bradford had a 3-day celebration with the native Indians, it was an Indian festival. The Pawnee Indians had a virgin sacrificed in their 3-day festivity in honor of the god Ra-Osiris.

.) People can’t sprinkle holy water on the turkey or goose and pronounce it clean in terms of a service to God and honor of God. This cannot be done because it is a pagan feast the same way as Christmas and Easter are.

.) A tune called “Your Cheating Heart” sung by Ray Charles was played. Your cheating hear will tell on you when you don’t follow God’s way’s.

.) People won’t have any sleep after Turkey Day this year because they know the truth, that its origin is pagan. TOCOG won’t let up on telling the truth. Turkey Day is pagan, and it always has been pagan. When we are dead and gone, it’ll still be a pagan holiday.

.) The churches of God have been stinking since 1972, but they don’t smell their own stink. They don’t know how bad they are. If a prophet saw the members all going to restaurants on the Sabbath and hiring people, he’d see they stink.

.) If a prophet saw Church of God members all having a Turkey Day, he’d see they stink. They don’t know how bad they are when they follow Devil days. A person who needs a bath doesn’t smell his own stink because he or she is use to stinking. Since 1972 Churches of God stink!

.) Now that the Sabbath has been moved to the sixth-day in half the world since the 1800s, TOCOG has discovered this is wrong. TOCOG has discovered that Sky Father’s Day, Mother- goddess Day, and Turkey-day are wrong to observe. Those people who observe them stink!

.) Maybe some will wake-up when they realize their own stink.

.) If we observe ways of pagan worship on their days and months and times and years after we have known God, or rather are known of God, we have turned again to weak and beggarly elements, because we desired again to be in bondage.  Read Galatians 4:9-10.

.) Those who follow heathen customs of particular pagan days stink because their origins are in the encyclopedias. They are sprinkling holy water on these days and pronouncing them clean. They have Turkey day and call it Thanksgiving as a good day in observance of God.

.) Mr. Lawrence A. Nowell is here to tell these people they stink; and the churches of God have been stinking since 1972.This includes the Living Church of God, the United Church of God, and any other church of God that incorporates pagan festivals based on the old heathen idolatry that was consecrated to deities, and to the state religions.

.)  The Israelites who came out of Egypt didn’t enter he promised land and neither will the church of God today be in God’s Kingdom while they continue their Turkey day, Mother-goddess day, and Sky Father day. Mr. Nowell says they stink, and they had better repent.

.) Anyone who hates reproof, correction, and instruction should read Proverbs 15:10 where it says, “Correction (instruction) is grievous to him that forsakes the way: and he that hates reproof shall die.” That’s how serious it is. We must rejoice in God’s truth.

.) Rejoice that we’ve found out these holidays of the world are pagan. TOCOG is a short work. And we’re getting the word out there. There are more people tuning in all the time.

.) Mr. Lawrence A. Nowell has come to disturb the church from its lethargy and to improve the churches where anyone can. He hasn’t come to destroy them; he has come to wake up the people to examine their pagan Baal days, their Osiris-Ra days. So he plays, Your Cheating Heart.

.) Satan is always trying to undermine what God has said, and the root of every failure is that people don’t believe what God has really said: we are not to participate in the Gentile’s ways.

.) How can we call ourselves Christian when we refuse to get rid of Devil Days? We won’t be in the Kingdom. See what observing Devil Days, the fruit of masquerading them as God’s ways, gets you. The whole system of religion has Satanic days in it.

.) And yes, The Obedient Church of God is the only church on the face of this earth that isn’t preaching a pack of lies of the United Church of God, the Living Church of God, the Philadelphia Church of God that the Sabbath Day has been moved to the sixth-day in half of the world!!

.) TOCOG has to tell people that apathy is for jerks, and we are going to defend the Bible with our lives. For the minister who won’t repent, we are sorry for him because it is so sad that he wants Satan’s ways. And that man is dead!

.) In Proverbs 21:16, “The man that wanders out of the way of understanding shall remain in the congregation of the dead.” Is God’s attitude enough for the ministers to give up their lives?

.) The ministers are lying to their members. They won’t look at the issue and won’t address it head on, but rather they will attack the messenger, saying the messenger has a bad attitude. Are the ministers going to trade in their lives for “a bowl of soup”?

.) Trading one’s life for a bowl of soup is sad;some will trade their eternal lives forTurkey Day.

.) Psalm 119:51 says, “…yet have I not declined from your law.” The first part of the verse says, “The proud have had me greatly in derision (in contempt or ridicule),” yet I turn not aside from Father’s law.

.) We remember Father’s judgment of old when there were Turkey Days, Sky Father’s Days, and Mother-goddess Days around, but they weren’t observed by God’s people.

.) Psalm 119:57 “…O Lord, I have said that I would keep thy words.”

.) Psalm 119:44, “So shall I keep thy law continually forever and ever.”

.) Psalm 119:60, “I made haste and delayed not to keep your commandments.” Verse 61, “…I have not forgotten your law.” This applies to Deuteronomy 12:32 where the law is written, “What thing so ever I command you, observe to do it.”

.) Psalm 119:63 says, “I am a companion of all them that fear thee, and of them that keep your precepts.”

.) Again, Psalm 119:44-46 tell us, “So shall I keep your law continually forever and ever. And I will walk at liberty (at large); for I seek your precepts. I will speak of your testimonies before kings and I will not be ashamed.”

.) Our duty is to repent and change our ways and follow the commandments.

.) To fly with the best we have to leave the nest. When we learn about the New Moon Days, we have to leave the congregations that don’t even celebrate the beginning of the Hebrew month on New Moon Day. So sad.

.) Last week Mr. Lawrence A. Nowell sang, “Me and God.” The words were, “There ain’t nothin’ that can’t be done by me and God.  Ain’t nobody that’s going to come in between me and God. One day we’ll live together where the angels trod, me and God.”

.) Today Mr. Nowell plays another tune called, “Free As a Bird and Spiritually High.” We do have love for our friends and we do have a positive attitude here. Mr. Nowell has been singing this song since the 1970s.And he has been learning and growing since the ‘70s.

.) In the 1980’s Mr. Nowell challenged the Worldwide Church to stop having their members buy food in restaurants on the Sabbath Day.

.) Mr. Nowell is going to defend God’s Bible with his life. So he tells all the sinisters to stop yapping about the messenger, and stop ducking the truth of the issues, and stop attacking the messenger, and start examining the issues. They will find out they are the enemiues of God, enemies of the Bible Word.

.) Ministers are lying to their members; they are treasonous “sinisters” when they tell people to have the Sabbath of the sixth-day in Australia. They should be hung before they can do any more damage. If a minister can’t be reached, and he won’t repent, Mr. Nowell feels sorry for him because it is so sad.

.) Now that segways into New Moon Day, a rediscovered truth. It is still in existence. Te express purposes of the moon began a Creation. It was set to recycle the feast days from day one at Creation.

.) In Genesis 1:14 God appointed the moon for seasons, moadim, meaning “appointed times.”

.) On the new moon day God’s people are supposed to blow the trumpet. Psalm 81:3-4 says, “Blow the trumpet in the new moon, in the time appointed, on our solemn feast day. For this was a statute for Israel, and a law of the God of Jacob.”

.) This was written to the chief musician…a Psalm for Asaph. Ministers who attack Mr. Nowell by saying he’s just a musician must remember that David was a musician.

.) David wrote all the psalms. And he played for Saul and had power to drive all the demons away from Saul so Saul could possibly have some peace after his belligerent disobedience. Because Saul didn’t repent, he didn’t have any peace. So David played and drove the demons away. The point is that David was a musician and he wrote the songs, and he was loved by God.

.) Blow the trumpet at the time of the new moon, the crescent moon, the Day of Trumpets. And we also blow the trumpet at the full moon on our solemn feast day, the fifteenth day of the seventh month. This would be the first day of the Feast of Succot.

.) In  Ezekiel 46:1-3 God said, “Thus says the Lord God (Sovereign Yahveh), The gate of the inner court that looks toward the east shall be shut the six working days; but on the sabbath, it shall be opened, and in the day of the new moon it shall be opened.

.)  “And the prince shall enter by the way of the porch of that gate without, and shall stand by the post of the gate, and the priests shall prepare his burnt offering and his peace offerings, and he shall worship at the threshold of the gate; then he shall go forth; but the gate shall not be shut until the evening (when the sun goes down).

.) “Likewise the people of the land shall worship at the door of this gate before the Lord in the Sabbaths and in the new moons.”

.) This tells that the east gate shall be opened on the Sabbath and on the day of the new moon…the people shall worship before Yahveh in the Sabbaths and the new moons.

.) God really said this. The new moon day is a holy day.  Some will say God didn’t really say this. God didn’t open the gate on the day of the new moon. And Yahveh didn’t command the people to worship at the door of the gate before Yahveh on the Sabbath and in the new moon.

.) Give your head a shake. Yes He did.

.) In the future Isaiah 66:23 shall occur, “And it shall come to pass that from one new moon to another and from one Sabbath to another shall all flesh come to worship before me saith the Lord.” This is what the Bible states.

.) Don’t let any “sinister” tell you that you can choose whether or not you want to observe the new moon. Psalm 81 said this was a statute for Israel and a law of the God of Jacob. It’s a law.  It is not up to the person to choose whether we will have a new moon day or not.

.) The Scripture says to blow the trumpet at the new moon and on your solemn feast day, which would be the full moon.

.) Psalm 89:34 says, “My covenant I will not break, nor altar the thing that is gone out of my lips.”

.) Exodus 20:1-23 God set out all of the laws. Exodus 23:33 warns, “They (the Canaanites) shall not swell in your land, lest they make you sin against me: for if you serve their gods, it will surely be a snare unto you.”

.) So there goes Turkey Day, which Bradford had with the native American Indians who were serving their gods for three days. Obviously, they were not serving the true God.

.) God said that the heathen shall not dwell in your land (that God gave to the Israelites)             lest they make you sin against me (the true God). The point is to watch out for those ministers who make members of their churches sin against God.

.) If we break Psalm 81:3 and we break Ezekiel 46:1-3, then we are sinning against Father. Both of these references tell us to observe the new moons.

.) Psalm 8:3-4 says, “When I consider your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have ordained—set aside for a specific task (as told in Ezekiel 46:1 & 3)—what is man, that you are mindful of him? And the son of man that you visited him?”

.) Bear Note: “Ordained” means “to establish, appoint, set, decree.” It means to “set apart for a special decree, or task, or command.” The moon has been set aside for a specific task.

.) Ezekiel 46:3 tells that the people would worship at the door of the east gate in the Sabbaths and the new moons.

.) Psalm 148:3-6 recorded, “Praise Him, sun and moon…and He has…established them forever and ever: He has made a decree which shall not pass (away).” The moon has been ordained for new moon day forever!

.) Back in 1962 Mr. Lawrence A. Nowell was arguing with his Aunt Mary, who was a Seventh-day Adventist, in favor of the seventh-day Saturday and giving her even more information. Because she was a Seventh-day Adventist, she was saying she had a belief that when the Bible says established, it was only meant for the time that those conditions existed.

.) So watch out for “sinisters” who will say, “Did God really mean that He would establish the new moon forever?” And they will twist it and say that He only established it for as long as certain conditions existed—for that particular time period. Well, that’s not what the Bible says!

.) Psalms 148:6 says, “He (God) has established the moon and heavenly bodies forever and ever: He has made a decree which shall not pass (away).”

.) Mr. Nowell remembers his discussion with Aunt Mary in 1962. God made a decree which shall not pass away. So Mr. Nowell doesn’t accept the argument that the new moon observance was only for the Old Testament times or as long as those conditions existed or as long as there was a temple.  Watch out for that one.

.) Some will say that there isn’t a temple now, so we don’t have to do that one. Remember    Psalms 148:6, which states, “He made a decree which shall not pass (away).” That is clear.

.) What is being discussed are the angels, the sun and moon, and the heaven of heavens. Verse 5 of Psalm 148 says, “…He commanded and they were created.”

.) Review Psalm 148:6 where it says that God established the moon and heavenly bodies forever and ever: He has made a decree which shall not pass (away). Tie this back to Psalm 8:3 which says, “…the moon and the stars which you have ordained (set aside for a specific purpose).” And tie this back to Ezekiel 46:1-3 where it says that the people of the land shall worship in the new moons.

.) As a Christian realize that the new moons will never pass away and they will be observed in the new kingdom.

.) Jeremiah 31:35-36 says, “Thus says the Lord, which gives the sun for a light by day, and the ordinances of the moon and of the stars for a light by night…If those ordinances depart from before me, says the Lord, then the seed of Israel also shall cease from being a nation before me forever.”

.) The nation of Israel shall not cease. That’s rhetorical. It will always be here. Israel will not depart. When scriptures are put together, it is so clear.

.) Someone will say,“That’s only for the Israelites.” So let’s read Romans 11:13, which states,  “… I speak to you Gentiles, inasmuch as I am the apostle of the Gentiles, I magnify my office.”

.) Romans 9:6-8 says, “Not as though the word of God has taken none effect. For they are not all Israel, which are Israel: Neither, because they are the seed of Abraham, are they all children: but, In Isaac shall your seed be called, that is, they which are the children of the promise are counted for the seed.”

.) This is saying that all believers are counted as the seed; they are grafted in; we are grafted on to the tree. The Gentiles are now considered part of the seed of Israel that will be saved.

.) Read Romans 11:13-27. Verse 24 says, “For if you (Gentiles) were cut out of the olive tree which is wild by nature and were grafted contrary to nature into a good (cultivated) olive tree (Israel), how much more shall these (Israelites), which be the natural branches, be grafted into their own olive tree?”

.) By implication, it is clear that we, the Gentiles, are grafted in to the Israelite nation and Father is able to graft us in.

.) Therefore, we keep the new moon day as part of the way of love to the Father, by being obedient to Him.

.) In Isaiah 66:22-23 it says, “From one new moon to another…shall all flesh come to worship before me, says the Lord.” All flesh shall come to services.

.) So The Obedient Church of God practices New Moon Day as a Sabbath Day, a day of rest from our work because we are not part of this world.

.) As a side bar, when working people take new moon days off, they should not tell their employers or associates they are taking a day off to observe the new moon . Why make trouble for yourself? Tell them you have a very important obligation that you have to take care of. Or maybe you can take the day off as part of you sick leave. Or take the day off and call saying, “I won’t be in today” without giving a reason. And hope that the new moon day falls on the Sabbath Day more often.

.) “From one moon to another…all flesh shall worship (come to services),” Isaiah 66:23.

.) We’ve got these “appointed times,”   these moadim, meaning  “feast days.” Appointed times meant “set times,” but this was changed in time to “feast days.” These are dates when we are supposed to meet with Yahveh.

.)     On New Moon Day we are supposed to meet with Yahveh. And if we are not meeting withYahveh on new moon day, we are in big trouble, because we are breaking God’s command.

.) In Ezekiel 46:11-3 it says that the people shall worship in the new moons. And the only way we can worship is by going to services on the new moon days. Christians are in this world but we are no way a part of it. And it is wonderful not to be a part of it.

.)  In Jeremiah 31:35-36 these ordinances will not depart until the nation of Israel becomes no more. We can’t say that the seed of Israel will cease from being a nation forever. (It might cease for a short time, but not forever.) God guarantees that Israel will not cease from being a nation forever and neither shall these ordinances cease.

.) The serpent tells ministers to ask, “Did God really say that?” The “sinister” will tell people, “You can choose whether you want to keep God’s new moon days or not.”No you can’t choose! People have to follow what was written in the Torah.

.) Numbers 10:10 says, “In the day of your gladness, and in your solemn days (appointed feasts), and in the beginnings of your months, you shall blow with the trumpets…that they may be to you for a memorial before your God: I am the Lord your God.”

.) Other translations say, “…in the beginnings of the months…”, English Standard Version; “…on the first days of your months…”, New American Standard version; “…the first day of the month…”,God’s Word Translation.

.) On the first days of their months Israelites offered peace offerings and sacrifices and it was a day of remembrance.

.) How do we remember Father?  “… and they shall be as a reminder before your God,” New American Standard Version. We can’t be before our God if we are sitting at home, unless we can’t attend. Then God gives us that caveat.

.) Still, some will ask, “Did God really say that?” in order to try to weasel their way out of observing the new moon days.

.) Wesley’s note about Numbers 10:10 in the Bible says, “That God may remember you for good to accept and bless you.”

.) “In the days of your gladness, days appointed for rejoicing and then kings giving to God for former mercies or deliverances. Your solemn day, your stated festivals are for a memorial (Our new moon days are solemn days when the gate is opened.) that God may remember you for good, to accept and bless you.”

.) God then takes pleasure in our religious exercises when we take pleasure in them. And holy work should be done with holy joy.

.) Jamison, Fawcett, and Brown Commentary: “Also in the day of your gladness and in your solemn days, festive and thanksgiving occasions are to be ushered in with the trumpets as all feasts afterwards were, including new moon day, to intimate, joyous, and delightful feelings with which they engaged in the service of God.”

.) Matthew Henry’s Concise Commentary: Here are the directions concerning the public notices to be given to the people by the sound of the trumpet.  (They are blowing the trumpet on their new moon days.)Their laws in every case were to be divine. Therefore, even in this matter Moses was directed.

.) These trumpets typify the preached gospel. It sounds an alarm to sinners and, calls them to repent, proclaims liberty to the captives and slaves of Satan, and collects the worshippers of God. (Blowing the trumpet on the new moon day collects the worshippers of God.)

.) Matthew Henry’s Concise Commentary:  “It directs and encourages their heavenly journey, stirs them up to combat against the world and sin, encouraging them with the assurance of victory.

“It leads their attention to the sacrifice of Christ and shows the Lord’s presence for their protection. It is also necessary that the gospel trumpet gives a distinct sound according to the person addressed to the end proposed whether to reprove, or teach.

“The sounding of the trumpet of the gospel is an ordinance and it demands the attention of all to whom it was sent.”

.) Leviticus 23:24 says, “Speak unto the children of Israel saying, In the seventh month, in the first day of the month, shall you have a Sabbath (day of rest), a memorial of blowing of trumpets, and holy convocation.”

.) The first day of the seventh month can fall on any day of the week; this is a new moon day, also Day of Trumpets, Yom Teruah.

.) On the first day of the seventh month we are to have a day of rest commemorated with a trumpet blast.

.) Numbers 28:11 says, “In the beginnings of your months you shall offer a burnt offering unto the lord…,” or “On the first of every month present to the Lord a burnt offering of two young bulls, and one ram, seven lambs of the first year without spot (defect).”

.) The sacrifice today is the sacrifice of your lips.

.) David celebrated new moon days. When he was supposed to be with the king, the king celebrated new moon day. In I Samuel 20:5 David said, “Behold, tomorrow is the new moon (a time of rejoicing), and I should not fail to sit with the king at meat (to eat the feast).” He was looking forward to celebrating the festival.

.) David said he was supposed to dine with the king, but he said, in I Samuel 20:5, “let me go, that I may hide myself in the field unto the third day at even.” This was said because King Saul was trying to kill him.  David had to make an excuse for not celebrating new moon day, because the day was a festival day.

.) II Kings 4:22-23 tells  about a woman whose son had died and she wanted to go to see the man of God so “She said to her husband, ‘Send me, I pray thee, one of the young men, and one of the asses, that I may run to the man of God, and come again.’ And he said, ‘Wherefore wilt thou go to him today? It is neither new moon nor Sabbath.’ And she said,’ It shall be well.’ ”

.) The husband wanted to know why his wife wanted to travel to the man of God at a time when it was not the Sabbath or the new moon. This infers that when it is the new moon or the Sabbath, of course people would go to the man of God.

.) Psalm 81:3 says, “Blow up the trumpet in the new moon, in the time appointed on our solemn feast day.”

.) Psalm 89:15 says, “Blessed is the people that know the joyful sound: they shall walk, O Lord, in the light of thy countenance.” Or, “Blessed is the people that learn to acclaim you, who walk in the light of your presence, O Lord.”  On the new moon day is when Father is around.

.) Psalm 98:6 tells us, “With trumpets and sound of cornets (the blast of the ram’s horn), make a joyful noise before the Lord, the King.”

.) On the new moon day we want to acclaim Father, we want to shout for joy, we want to have the blast of the trumpet and the ram’s horn.

.) And if you go to the appointed feasts, appointed beginnings, they are all part of the feast of fellowship festival and there’s gladness, and they are the feasts of months when new moon offerings were given. And now we give the offerings of our lips.

.) This scripture refers to the day of our gladness, and the beginning of our months, you shall blow with trumpets over the burnt offerings and over the sacrifice and the peace offering that they may be to you a memorial before your God when we give the sacrifice of our lips. Don’t get thrown off by burnt offerings because we are grafted in.

.) Here are some scriptures of a memorial. Numbers 10:9 says, “If you go to war in our land against the enemy that oppresses you, then you shall blow an alarm with the trumpets, and you shall be remembered before the Lord your God, and you shall be saved from your enemies.”

.) Exodus 28:29 says, “And Aaron shall bear the names of the children of Israel in the breastplate of judgment upon the heart, when he goes in unto the holy place, for a memorial before the Lord continually.”

.) Exodus 20:16 says, “You shall take the atonement money of the children of Israel, and shall appoint it for the service of the tabernacle of the congregation; that it may be a memorial unto the children of Israel before the Lord, to make an atonement for your souls.”

.) Acts 10:4 says, “The Lord said unto him, ‘Your prayers and your alms are come up for a memorial before God.’ ” God declared the Centurion Cornelius “clean.”

.) By my celebrating the new moon day, it’s a memorial. My prayers and my gifts have come up before God as a memorial. That is how important it is for me to tie up your affections with Father, very important.

.) Yeshua had shown that the chief priests were the enemy of God. The chief priests masqueraded as righteous people and they told people to sin.

.) The ministers today tell people not to follow new moon days. They are unbelievers and they are pretenders and they are God’s enemies. They are masquerading as righteous people. That’s how serious it is.

.) We have seen from the Bible that we are supposed to follow new moon days. Christians now have the decision of whether they are going to follow new moon days or not. We should be serving Yahveh on new moon day, the same way as it has always been done. And we should be drawn to worship Father on those days.

.) New Moon Days are supposed to be proclaimed because they start the next month for our fellowship with Yahveh. And all Israel was to make sure that they followed the new moon day, and that’s why the gates were opened for them to enter.

.) We are supposed to walk in the ways of Paul and of Abraham, Isaaac, and Jacob because we are grafted in.

.) Moses looked to the new moon day for rosh chodesh and Shabbat guidance. He knew exactly they the holy day were. Moses knew the moadim, the”appointed times” for God’s festivals. We have read that new moon day is one of the appointed festivals.

.) Psalm 8:3 tells that God has ordained, set aside for a specific day, the moon and the stars. Observe the new moon days with joy.

.) Mr. Lawrence A. Nowell prayed to Father to give him the courage to change the things that he can in his life, and wisdom to know that he should change them. He prays to the Father to grant him courage to change our wrong ways.

.) Mr. Nowell will have to change his errors or he can’t be used by Father because he won’t be able to teach people in the Kingdom where it is clearly stated the new moon will be observed.

.) We are going to have to be able to teach others to observe the new moon days and we’ve got to learn now so that we can teach others.

.) The closing hymn is “Come Thou Almighty King.” We all sing out in praise to Yeshua.

.) Mr. Lawrence A. Nowell gave the closing prayer.
