Tribute to Mr. Armstrong
Adaptation (fictional)

I dreamed I saw Mr. Armstrong last night, alive as you and me.
Says I: "Mr. Armstrong, you're twenty years dead", "I never died", said he. "I never died"; said he."

They say: "Tkach-killed-you-Herbert. He-smothered-you-Herbert. He smothered you Herbert"; says I.
"Takes more than murder to kill a work". Says Herbert: "I didn't die". Says Herbert: "I didn't die".

"In Pasadena, Herbert, Tkach standing by your bed, Tkach standing by your bed"; says I.
"They say: he smothered you, with a pillow, it's said!" Says Herbert, "I didn't die". Says Herbert; "I didn't die".

And standing there as big as life, and smiling with his eyes:
Says Mr. Armstong: "What they can never kill; Went on to organize, went on to organize!!
