Sermon: Europe – The Beast Arising from the Sea

Text: Revelation 13:1-8

“And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy. ... And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority.”

Beloved, open your Bibles and your eyes to the times in which we live. The Spirit is speaking clearly in this hour. The Beast of the Sea is not some future fantasy or a distant myth.

It is rising before us — and its name is Europe.

1. The Beast Comes from the Sea of Peoples

Scripture tells us the Beast rises “out of the sea.” In biblical symbolism, the sea represents the restless masses of humanity, the swirling nations and peoples (Revelation 17:15). Europe is precisely that: a continent forged out of the chaos of tribes, migrations, and empires — Celts, Romans, Goths, Franks, Vikings, Slavs. Out of this turbulent sea of peoples came the Roman Empire, the greatest political beast the world had ever seen.

Rome fell, yet its body did not die. It received a deadly wound (Revelation 13:3), but the wound was healed. The empire “OF ROME” fragmented into the nations of Europe. For centuries those nations warred against each other. But now, in our lifetime, they are reuniting under new structures=The NEW STRUCTURE in — the European Union, the Euro, shared laws, shared foreign policy, shared military ambitions. The heads and horns are coalescing once more. What the Caesars built by the sword, modern Europe is rebuilding through treaties, bureaucracy, and economic power.

And the big PROGRESSIVE difference in June of 2026 IS:

The EU is “now” ARMING ITSELF, like it never has ever before!

2. The Features of the Beast Match Europe

Seven heads: These are kings or kingdoms (Revelation 17:9-10). Europe’s history is marked by successive empires and power centers — Rome, the Holy Roman Empire, the various crowns and republics that followed. Seven is the number of completeness. Europe sees itself as the complete, final expression of Western civilization.
Ten horns with crowns: Horns represent power and authority. The European project has expanded and contracted around roughly ten core nations or power centers that drive its agenda. These are not always literal kings, but centers of real authority — Berlin, Paris, Brussels, Frankfurt — wearing the crowns of economic and regulatory dominion.
Composite beast: Like a leopard (swift, cunning — think of European diplomacy and technology), feet of a bear (strong, crushing — the weight of European regulation and finance), mouth of a lion (devouring rhetoric and cultural dominance — the export of secular humanism, progressive ideology, and “European values” to the world).

The Dragon (Satan) has given Europe his power, seat, and authority. The continent that once spread the Gospel now leads the world in secularism, moral relativism, and the worship of man. It blasphemes the God of heaven while demanding global allegiance to its climate agendas, migration policies, digital currencies, and supranational governance.

3. Europe Will Rule the World Again — Like Rome

Rome ruled the known world. It brought roads, law, language, and order under one imperial system. It crucified Christ and persecuted His Church, yet the very roads of Rome carried the Gospel to the ends of the earth. Now Europe, the heir of Rome, is rising to global rule once more.

Economically: The EU remains one of the largest economies on earth. Its regulations shape global trade. Its banks and corporations influence continents.
Politically: Through soft power, NGOs, and institutions like the UN, WTO, and climate accords, Europe exports its vision of governance. Nations bow to gain access to European markets.
Culturally: Hollywood may dominate screens, but European ideas — Enlightenment rationalism stripped of God, postmodern ethics, green religion — rule the minds of elites worldwide.
Technologically and digitally: Europe is pushing digital IDs, carbon tracking, and centralized control systems that foreshadow the mark of the Beast (Revelation 13:16-17). You will not buy or sell without aligning with the system.

Just as Rome fell and appeared dead, Europe was humbled by two world wars. Yet the wound has been healed. The Beast is standing again. Many will marvel and say, “Who is like the Beast? Who is able to make war with him?” (Revelation 13:4). Global south nations, rising powers in Asia and Africa — none will ultimately withstand the revived Roman system when it fully awakens.

4. The Warning and the Hope

Church, do not be deceived. This Beast will speak great things and blasphemies. It will war against the saints. It will demand worship of the system, the image, the technocratic order. Many professing Christians will accommodate it, calling its unity “peace” and its control “progress.”

But the true Church knows: “Here is the patience and the faith of the saints” (Revelation 13:10). Our hope is not in Brussels or Berlin. Our hope is in the returning King — the Lion of Judah who will slay the Beast and establish His everlasting kingdom.

Repent of placing hope in earthly empires. Come out of Babylon (Revelation 18). Europe offers glittering technology and false peace, but its end is destruction. Stand firm. Preach the Gospel while there is time. The Beast is rising, but so is the shout of the archangel and the trumpet of God.

“And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.” (Revelation 12:11)

May God open our eyes to the signs of the times. Amen.

The Ten Groups (Horns/Kings) of Revelation 17:12-13

“And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast. These have one mind, and shall give their power and strength unto the beast.” (Revelation 17:12-13)

In this interpretive framework, Europe (the revived Roman Beast) stands as the central power. These ten regional groupings represent major blocs of nations and peoples that have not yet fully exercised unified “kingdom” authority as single empires in the end times. They will align with and empower the Beast for a short time (“one hour”), handing over their economic, military, and political strength to the European-led system.

Group 1:

North America Greenland, Canada, United States of America, Mexico

Group 2:

Latin America / South America Central American nations, Colombia, Venezuela, Brazil, Argentina, Peru, Chile, Bolivia, Ecuador, Paraguay, Uruguay, and associated territories.

Group 3:

Northern and Western Europe (allied extensions) United Kingdom, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Iceland, and associated Atlantic territories (distinct from the core Beast power in continental Europe).

Group 4: Eastern and Southern Europe / Balkans

Poland, Romania, Hungary, Bulgaria, Greece, Serbia, Croatia, and surrounding states (the fragmented edges of the old Roman/Byzantine sphere that align with the center).

Group 5:

Eurasia / Russia-Central Asia Russia, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Ukraine (in alignment), Uzbekistan, and other Central Asian republics.

Group 6:

Middle East / North Africa (MENA) Turkey, Israel, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Iran, Iraq, Syria, Jordan, Gulf states, Libya, Algeria, Morocco, and neighboring territories.

Group 7:

Sub-Saharan Africa Nigeria, South Africa, Ethiopia, Kenya, Democratic Republic of Congo, and the broader collection of African nations south of the Sahara.

Group 8:

South and Central Asia India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Afghanistan, Nepal, and associated Himalayan and Indian Ocean nations.

Group 9:

East Asia China, Japan, South Korea, North Korea, Mongolia, Taiwan, and related Pacific Rim states.

Group 10:

Southeast Asia / Oceania Indonesia, Philippines, Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, and Pacific island nations.

These groupings reflect broad regional, economic, and cultural blocs (similar to proposals from global planning bodies like the Club of Rome for ten economic regions). In the prophetic picture, they do not yet rule as fully independent “kingdoms” with absolute unified authority but will receive power for a brief season. They will give their strength to the Beast — the European core — through trade agreements, digital systems, climate pacts, security alliances, and supranational governance.⁠Researchgate

This alignment allows the Beast to exercise global influence (Revelation 13:7), even as the ten horns eventually turn on aspects of the system (Revelation 17:16). The exact boundaries can shift as events unfold, but the pattern of regional consolidation feeding power into a revived Roman/European center fits the scriptural imagery.

Beloved, watch the signs. Nations are already moving toward greater bloc coordination.

The stage is being set today in 2026 with Europe arming itself.

The IRAN war is showing all the Nations:

That they cannot rely on the USA for protection

Therefore all Nations “NOW” are starting new groupings

“ARE” ARMING.
