The Good News Translation
He said to them, "I have wanted so much to eat this Passover meal with you before I suffer! Luke 22:15

The way to PROPERLY translate it was:

That he desired/wanted to keep the Passover, but obviously couldn’t.

He couldn’t because he was crucified on Passover Day “before” the Passover animals were even slain.

AND MORE PROOF

HE DID “NOT” KEEP THE PASSOVER:

Because at The Last Supper dinner he did NOT follow the Biblical instructions “Of” the Passover. To take it in:

Haste

Standing up because you have a “long” staff in your hand ALL THE TIME.

Passover Instructions About Standing

In summary, the Passover instructions that indicate you take the Passover standing up (or in readiness for travel) are found in Exodus 12:11 and Exodus 12:2, where the Israelites are told to be dressed for travel and to eat the meal in haste.

1.) Christ did not say that He would “KEEP” the Passover at the time of His crucifixion.

Christ said that He would “EAT” the Passover, not “keep” the Passover.

The same way that you would eat what is in your lunchbox or briefcase if you didn’t go into work the next day.

…‘The Teacher says, “Where is the guest room in which I may eat the Passover. Mark 14:14

… The Master saith, Where is the guestchamber, where I shall

eat the passover with my disciples? Mark 14:14

Correction:  He actually said "where I MAY eat the Passover" - not SHALL.

2.) And furthermore He did not say He was eating the Passover, He instead said He “desired” to eat the Passover.

Then He said to them, “With fervent desire I have

desired to eat this Passover with you before I suffer;

Correction: He actually said "with FORBIDDEN desire I have desired"  epithumia means a desire which is impossible or unlawful.  Paul used it in Rom 9:3

eudokia is the Greek word for legitimate desire; Christ did not use that.
