"because" the Crescent Moon has been sited "before" Passover.
BUT you cannot know the day and hour of Trumpets, because
Trumpets is the only Holy Day that occurs on the "1st" Day of the Month, whereby
the Lunar Crescent has "not" been sighted yet.

evening this year is the Evening of April 19 which is also the 1st evening
portion of the days of Unleavened Bread.
The Daylight portion of the Days of Unleavened Bread are from
April 20th-April 26th=7 days of Unleavened Bread.
