November 19, 2011, Sermon Transcript
By Lawrence A. Nowell
1.)
The Obedient Church of
God tells us to hear God’s message of truth, change errors.
2.)
Service opens with
prayer. We must have God’s Holy Spirit to be able to change.
3.)
Songs sung today are
page 49, A Servant’s Prayer; page 66, Praise the Eternal; and page 114,
Hallelujah! Praise God!
4.)
“Sinisters” are denying God’s Bible and are
not encouraging people to stop observing Devil Days.
5.)
Turkey Day is Satanic
because it represents Ra-Osiris (Amon-Ra).
6.)
The President of the
United States pardons a turkey every year. It represents the goose that gave up
its life to the hunter or wolf for its young to escape.
7.)
If we practice a lie, we will be outside the
city and go into the Lake of Fire. Read Revelation
22:15. Also, outside the city are those
who cause a lie, Revelation 21:27.
8.)
We can’t add to God’s
Word, states Deuteronomy
12:32. Ministers who disobey this command
are ignoring God’s Bible and refuse God’s Holy Spirit.
9.)
King Saul disobeyed
God’s command, fell apart and went astray. It was unfortunate.
10.)
In 1934 Mr. Herbert
Armstrong was given the Holy Spirit so he was able to discern that Pentecost
was on Sivan 6 and that lasted three years. Then in 1937 Mr. Armstrong changed
Pentecost to a Monday, which was erroneous.
11.)
There are other stories
about Mr. Armstrong. His daughter Dorothy was raped for ten years. Later when
Dorothy’s husband learned the Mr. Armstrong had raped his wife, he jumped over
Mr. Armstrong’s desk with a gun.
12.)
Other ministers have
come forward with the goings-on in Mr. Armstrong’s life, not to mention the
limousine with the two hookers that were coming up to his mansion every
Saturday night right up to the year of his death. He had “fallen off the
wagon,” so to speak.
13.)
And other ministers have “fallen off the
wagon” by teaching that people should have God’s Sabbath on the sixth-day of
the week. It was fine to have the Sabbath on the seventh-day up until 1883, but
in 1884 Rabbis said it was all right to have the Sabbath on the sixth-day for
those who live west of the International Date Line, because the day had been
jumped ahead 24 hours.
14.)
It’s so pathetic!
Thick-headed ministers just refuse to change. And this is for all of the
offshoots of the Worldwide Church of God. TOCOG’s messages are turning into a
witness work against them.
15.)
And the Living Church of
God and United Church of God are going to be having their Devil Turkey Day, and
they refuse to listen. Welcome to the Lake of Fire or, at least, welcome to
having your head cut off during the Tribulation.
16.)
We are going
to delight ourselves in the Lord,
and He will give us the desires of our heart. Read Psalm 37:4. And
our desire is very strong.
17.)
I Corinthians 9:26 says, “I run with purpose in every step; I am not
just shadow boxing.” Or “a boxer who beats the air.” (REB translation)
18.)
Verse 27 continues, “I train like an athlete to make my body do
what it should.”
19.)
Don’t give up your
eternal life for a bowl of soup, or a Turkey Day. Ministers are so self-willed,
so pathetic, so abhorrent when they disobey Deuteronomy
12:32 and tell others to disobey. God
states explicitly that you must not add a duplicate feast.
20.)
There are 4,000 different religions because
people won’t follow God’s Bible the way it is written. In Luke 4:4, “Jesus answered…saying,
‘It is written, that man shall live by every word of God.’ ” It is that simple.
And that includes Deuteronomy 12:32.
21.)
“Whatever I command you, be careful to
observe it. You shall not add it…”
22.)
You shall not add to the
Feast of Tabernacles. How clear can it be? Unless you are a “sinister wolf” and
tell the flock that that they can have a Devil day. You are going against
Deuteronomy 12:32.
23.)
Now Purim was a
celebration party. It was never a Devil Day. Look up Thanksgiving in your
encyclopedia. And look up Purim and see it was not a Devil Day.
24.)
We can have a party but
we can’t have a Devil Day. Go to theworldtomorrow.org
and on the top bar click articles, and then go to the article on Thanksgiving,
which is a misnomer. It is a Devil Day to Ra-Osiris. And the turkey is the pagan
god Amon, Amun-Ra.
25.)
The turkey is the closest size to the goose,
which was the symbol for the Egyptian god Amon- Ra. The turkey-goose is an icon
for the Egyptian god Amon, just as sure as the lamb is the symbol for Jesus for
the Passover meal.
26.)
The same way that we
partake of the lamb food as a symbol of Jesus during the Passover meal, on
Thursday people are diabolically partaking of the turkey-goose in honor of
Ra-Osiris, whether anyone says so or not.
27.)
Mr. Lawrence A. Nowell
doesn’t like seeing his ex-friends going into the Lake of Fire; they’ll be gone
if they don’t repent and no one will have to be upset by them in the
millennium.
28.)
The Indians celebrated
that same festival for three days to their pagan god. We are supposed to teach
the natives God’s ways, not vice versa. We are supposed to teach the Gentiles
the Feast of Tabernacles, not the Gentiles teaching us Ra-Osiris Turkey Day.
29.)
Thanksgiving Day is a
propaganda myth of the Government to cover-up the genocide slaughter of 60
million Native Americans.
30.)
Did you know there were
as many Indians in North America as there was population in Europe? There were
more Indians, 60 million Native Americans, in North
America than there was in the population of Europe.
31.)
Except for less than one
million, they were all slaughtered. For them the Thanksgiving Day is a day of
mourning in all of the North American communities.
32.)
All the settlers would
go out on Thanksgiving Day and have a slaughter, actually all through the fall.
There was such a slaughter of Native Americans that George Washington had to
proclaim a limit. He limited it to just one slaughter per year.
33.)
The Thanksgiving
festival in the 1700s was to celebrate the massacres. The children of Plymouth
Rock on Thanksgiving Day in 1731 kicked the heads of the decapitated Indians
down the street.
34.)
In Plymouth Rock for 29
years they had a chief’s head up on a pole. It is a propaganda Thanksgiving
myth that Indians and white men were getting along.
35.)
Those who observe Turkey
Day are wrecking God’s outline for salvation for man. They are adding a day to
God’s Holy Day Plan for man for 7,000 years. Instead of having the Feast of
Tabernacles for7 days, they add a Turkey Day, making it an 8,000 year plan.
36.)
What happened to Moses when he struck the
rock twice?
37.)
In Exodus 17:6 it
says, “Behold, I will stand before thee there upon the rock in Horeb; and thou
shalt smite the rock and there shall come water out of it that the people may
drink. And Moses did so in the sight of the elders of Israel.”
38.)
As a side bar here, it
is not Mt. Sinai, but Mt. Horeb. Years ago Ozelia Welling pointed out that God
stood before Moses upon the rock in Horeb, located in Arabia.
39.)
At another time in Numbers 20:7-8
the Lord told Moses to “speak unto the rock” and it shall give forth his water.
40.)
In verse 9, Moses
spoke to the rebellious people, “And Moses took the rod from before the Lord,
as he commanded him. And Moses and Aaron gathered the congregation together
before the rock, and he said unto them, Hear now, ye rebels; must we fetch you
water out of this rock?
41.)
Continuing in Numbers 20:11-12,
“And Moses lifted up his hand, and with his rod he smote the rock twice(Oh!
Oh!): and the water came out abundantly, and the congregation drank, and their
beasts also.
42.)
And the Lord spake unto Moses and Aaron,
Because ye believed me not, to sanctify (hallow) me in the eyes of the children
of Israel, therefore ye shall not bring this congregation into the land which I
have given them." (They did not enter the land.)
43.)
Mr. Lawrence A. Nowell
is mentioning this because God is very specific.
44.)
How important it is to
follow the instructions of Father to observe His commands and not to add a day
to them, especially, not to add an extra feast day to God’s seven days of the
Feast of Tabernacles, wrecking God’s seven thousand year plan.
45.)
It is a fallacious
argument that the idea just popped into Governor Bradford’s head to have a
feast, because it was three days long, the same as the Harvest Home festival
was in England.
46.)
What did God say in Deuteronomy 12:28-30 when the people entered the land? “Take heed to yourself that thou be
not snared by following them…and that thou inquire not after their gods,
saying, How did these nations serve their gods? Even so will I do likewise.”
47.)
God’s people are not
supposed to do that. Deuteronomy 12:31 states, Thou shalt not do so unto the Lord thy God:
for every abomination to the Lord, which he hateth , have they done to their
gods…”
48.)
Now people have done
Turkey Day to their gods of the Egyptian times, and God hates that. Are you
going to allow that to go on this Thursday? Mr. Nowell feels sorry for you. It
is pathetic that you try to call yourself a Christian.
49.)
The days that the pagans
had were also to Demeter, the goddess of agriculture. And the Romans honored
Ceres, that’s where the word “cereal” comes from.
50.)
And the Anglo-Saxons
rejoiced in the Feast of the Harvest. And God’s chosen people are supposed to
teach them to not do that but we should be teaching them to have a Feast of
Tabernacles instead.
51.)
We are spiritual Jews.
We’re not supposed to walk in the ways Satan has set up, not to do what the pagans do. We are
following the Bible word for word.
52.)
Galatians 1:6 -9 says that for those who removed from him who called
them into the grace of Christ unto another gospel, or perverted gospel of
Christ, a curse was pronounced upon him, and then a double curse.
53.)
Galatians 1:8 says, “If you preach any other gospel other than what
the apostle preached unto them, let him be accursed.”
54.)
And there wasn’t any
turkey day in the first century. Paul did not have one. Yeshua didn’t have one.
But the pagans had one. Egyptians had one in the first century—that’s where it
came from. The icon of Amon has been around from ancient times. Now you are
going to have one on your table, right in the center.
55.)
Here’s the proof from “Elements Encyclopedia of Magical Creatures”
by John Matthew. “The goose was one of the many appearances of the creator-god
Amun…In the Greco-Roman world the goose was sacred to the goddess Juno, the
goddess of the north winds and also to Hera, the queen of heaven…It was also
associated with the sun god Apollo.”
56.)
Another reference from
Questia.com/Library/Encyclopedia/101228982
“The goose was one of the
many appearances of the creator- god Amon. The worship of the god Amon, also
spelled Amun, was because he was…the syncretism of Ra, the sun deity and the
mobile goose god.”
57.)
There’s no way around
the turkey being a pagan god.
58.)
The original version was
an entity arising from the water with the interaction of a mound of dirt
(mehturt) on which was laid by the celestial bird an egg containing Ra the sun
god. (Originally, the egg was laid by the cosmic goose.)
59.)
You are going to use a
goose or a turkey at your feast as an icon as the center piece of your table?
60.)
The President of the
United States who pardons a turkey every year is proof that the turkey is the
center piece at your feast and not the Creator God.
61.)
And football is the
second piece of the feast which everybody watches while lounging around after
stuffing themselves.
62.)
Turkey is the
centerpiece of Thanksgiving. People can’t deny that. Why does the President
pardon a turkey? Answer. Because the turkey-goose is a symbol of foreign gods.
Satan wants us to pardon foreign gods.
63.)
It is odd that the only
animal the President of the United States ever pardons is a turkey,
representing the turkey-god Amon-Ra. It is shown on national television. It
will be interesting to see if President Obama and will do it on national
television.
64.)
President Obama has said
that the United States is not a Christian nation. So we’ll see what happens on
television on Turkey Day on November 24th, 2011. It is an insult to
God to honor Him with a turkey that represents Osiris-Ra.
65.)
Would you present a
turkey to your friend at a party when he retires? It would be an insult, not an
honor. Same way it would be to call your friend a weasel. That implies your
friend is a “cowardly rip-off artist.” Are you going to offer a turkey as a
centerpiece to your great God?
66.)
But Israel would not
heed God, they would have their own way, their own day in addition to the seven
days of the Feast of Tabernacles.Weren’t those seven days enough so that people
have to add a day and learn the way of the heathen? Unbelievable!
67.)
So into the tribulation they go. Those who
are “thick-headed,” stubborn, the whole turkey-goose celebration may crash down
on the ministers with the blood being on their hands and on their heads for
their willful disobedience. They are willfully ignorant in counseling others to
be disobedient all through the world.
68.)
Mr. Lawrence A. Nowell
hopes some of the people’s eyes are opened. If only they had obeyed, God would
surely have freed them.
69.)
For those whose eyes
have been opened, it’s been proven to them that the turkey is the centerpiece
icon and the goose has always been the symbol of the heathen god Amun-Ra. It is marked by the President using it. He
pardons a turkey instead of a Lamb, the symbol of Yeshua, tricking people into
having a turkey in giving thanks to the true God.
70.)
The goose is pagan to
the core. And in America it was replaced by the closest sized bird available,
the turkey. They had to use turkeys because all the geese had flown south in
1721. Using a turkey disguised the worship of Amun the goose god.
71.)
WHAT IS RTIGHHTEOUSNESS?
Turn to Psalm 119:172 where it says, “My tongue shall speak of your word
(God’s Word): for all your commandments are righteousness.” Righteousness is
obedience to God’s ways.
72.)
God’s Word in Exodus 23:16
says, “And the feast of harvest (50th day after Passover), the first
fruits of your labors, which you have sown in the field: and the feast of
ingathering (in the fall), which is in the end of the year, when you have
gathered in your labors out of the field.”
73.)
In the fall there was a
national pilgrimage to Jerusalem for the Feast of Tabernacles. They were not a
month later to then have a gentile pagan feast added to the seven days of the
Feast of Tabernacles.
74.)
“Thus saith the Lord,
Learn not the way of the heathen (gentiles),” Jeremiah 10:2
75.)
We are supposed to teach
the Gentiles God’s ways. Stop trying to get around what God states in the
Bible.
76.)
Ministers want to teach
the people to learn the way of the Gentiles. That makes them “sinisters,” not
ministers. This goes for the Living Church of God, the United Church of God.
For Triumph Prophetic Ministries, especially, because they’ve had the truth
handed to them on a platter, still they trample God’s Bible under their feet.
77.)
Stop putting out a table
centerpiece turkey, Ra/Amon god icon! This icon is one of the Devil’s gods. The
turkey-goose centerpiece icon has always been to the Devil.
78.)
What part does good have
with evil? II Corinthians 6:14-17 says, “Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers:for what fellowship
has righteousness withunrighteousness (lawlessness) and what communion has light with
darkness? What concord has Christ with Belial? For what part hath he that
believeth with the infidel?
NOTHING!!!
79.)
Mr. Lawrence A. Nowell
tells us to speak up when we see errors in our churches. When he was with the
Worldwide Church of God in the 1980s , he once saw a cornucopia in the hall on
the stage. Mr. Nowell told the minister that we can’t have a cornucopia on
stage. That’s a pagan “horn of plenty.” He said, “Oh no, it’s just fine. Don’t
you start making any trouble. It’s just fine to praise God with a horn of
plenty.”
80.)
Regarding the Plymouth
Rock settlers, they were mostly fortune hunters and slave traders. They were
capturing Indians and selling them into slavery in Europe, and they were
grabbing land.
81.)
In the Jamestown area
there was a village of 15,000 native people already flourishing, but they had
to move away because of the “insane” settlers, backward fortune hunters who had
guns and would murder the Indians and steal their food.
82.)
The Jamestown area was
like living with the Hell’s Angels in their neighborhood, men who were killing
and robbing people. So the 15,000 Indian village had to move away from the
violent settlers.
83.)
The Indian village was
living in harmony until the white man arrived, and the West “became” wild. The
fortune hunter did not want to share the land.
84.)
Sure there were wars
among the tribes, but not an outright slaughter of nearly 60 million people.
The population of America in 1491 was bigger than the entire population of
Europe.
85.)
On the first day the
Separatists arrived at Plymouth Rock, Captain Miles Standish with 16 other
fortune hunters, settlers, found a store of an Indian’s corn that was buried in
the sand and an Indian’s iron kettle, which they stole. Then they went back
with more men and stole a larger cache of the Indian’s corn.
86.)
They even saw some
Indian graves, and stole the best things they could find in the graves, taking
away the prettiest things from a child’s grave, and then covering up the child
corpse. The settlers never made
restitution.
87.)
In 1491 there were 59
million native Indians and by 1945 there were less than one million Indians in
America. The settlers killed the Indians to take their land. It was genocide,
an American holocaust. For Indians this day of “Thanksgiving” is a day of mourning. This Turkey Day is a
horrible day.
88.)
Floyd Westerman, a
singer in the native community, sings the truth about what happened to native
Americans. His song is titled, “Custer Died for Your Sins.”
89.)
Many treaties between
the American settlers and native tribes were broken. The English fortune
hunters /settlers were the “pariah” (despised) to the Indians, not the friends
as portrayed in history books for a false Thanksgiving Turkey dinner Day that
is celebrated. Thanksgiving Day is a myth, a horrible day.
90.)
Those sixty million
native Americans were minding their own business in their own country when God
gave the country to Ephraim and Manasseh. The American natives had enough room
to live on the land with white people.
91.)
Today, 307 million
people are jammed into cities in the United States.
92.)
An actual report said
that in 1637 children in Plymouth Rock on Thanksgiving Day kicked the heads of
decapitated Indians down the mud street as soccer balls.
93.)
And there is a report of
an Indian head being put on a stake for 29 years in Plymouth Rock. That’s how
bad it was.
94.)
Instead of celebrating
Turkey Day, we should celebrate God’s true righteousness, a positive feast of
ingathering, the seven days of The Feast of Tabernacles.
95.)
Once Gandhi was asked what he thought of Western
civilization. Gandhi replied, “I think it would be a very good idea,” meaning,
it would be wonderful if the western world was civilized, instead of murdering
and destroying and leading all the other nations into debauchery.
96.)
The United States has
destroyed nations such as Viet Nam where 5 million have died. In Iraq 1.5 million were killed, not to
mention 3 million professionals who left to escape the onslaught of American
troops, and all the people who were dispossessed.
97.)
There is no Turkey-god celebration for the
Obedient Church of God. We are to “learn not the way of the heathen
(Gentiles),” Jeremiah 10:2.
98.)
Don’t be hard-headed and
disobey God. Psalm 81:8-9 says, “Hear, O my people… there shall no strange god
be in thee; neither shalt thou worship any strange god.”
99.)
Verses 11-12 continue, “But my people would not hearken to my
voice…So I gave them up unto their own hearts’ lust: and they walked in their
own counsels.”
100.)
The REB
translation says, “You (Israel) shall
have no foreign god, nor bow down to an alien deity… But my people did not
listen to my voice…so I let them go with their stubborn hearts to follow their
own devices.”
101.)
“Sinister” ministers
take counsel against God. These ministers are the wolves who lead the church
members (sheep) astray.
102.)
The story is that Thanksgiving is a feast of
gluttony, not a feast to the Lord.
103.)
Mr. Lawrence A. Nowell
has an article written in the 1970s from a Minnesota newspaper. The title is
“Thanksgiving is a Disgusting Day.”
104.)
“It has become a holiday
that shamefully celebrates gluttony. Americans stuff themselves with turkey,
potatoes, cranberry jell…and pumpkin pie. And after this set in front of the
television to watch football. Does gorging oneself in anyway show thanks?”
105.)
A bit of America’s lack
of conscience, thanksgiving has degenerated into something meaningless. It is a
day of stupid rituals, such as stuffing oneself with turkey, that are
supposedly profound. The observance of Thanksgiving as a historical holiday is
inane.
106.)
There are health
articles in newspapers and magazines titled: “Recovering from Thanksgiving.”
Here is a little humor in an account of a Thanksgiving gluttony dinner:
107.)
“A doctor was called on
Thanksgiving to treat a man after the dinner. The doctor asked what the man had
eaten, and the man said that he could not remember ‘all’ of it, but that he
could recall that he had 3 dishes soup, 2 plates of fish, 2 plates of turkey, 24 oysters, some gherkins, 4 slices
of roast pig, 1 quart of coleslaw, 2 cups of coffee, 4 stalks of celery, lots
of boiled cabbage, 6 hard-boiled eggs, turnips, 1 glass of milk, apple
dumplings, 1 bottle of wine, 2 dishes plum pudding, 2 mince pies, some fruit
cake, and 3 dishes of ice cream.
108.)
“The doctor pronounced
the case as hopeless, and the doctor then left to call the undertaker.” This
portrays the newspaper’s Thanksgiving.
109.)
Today’s Thanksgiving
Day has a one minute prayer that is
given followed by at least one hour of gluttonous eating, followed by a day of
doing your own pleasure (mostly being too stuffed to move, so everyone is
stretched out watching foot-ball games throughout the nation.)
110.)
Generally, God’s people
avoid gluttony.
111.)
For all those overweight
people out there, eat 500 calories less a day, which is 3500 calories a week
and you’ll lose a pound a week, so you’ll be 50 pounds lighter at the end of
the year.
112.)
In conclusion we are on
shaky ground if we “duplicate” the Feast of Ingathering /Tabernacles with a
gluttonous feast of our own, adding it to God’s already existing seven-day
Feast of Tabernacles. We can’t have a duplicate feast, called Thanksgiving!
113.)
The Feast of Tabernacles
pictures God’s seven thousand year plan. Adding another day, such as Turkey
Day, is like Moses hitting the rock at Mt. Horeb twice. He didn’t follow
instructions to honor God by his actions, and he wasn’t allowed to go into the
“promised land.” We are not to foul up God’s plan either by adding a duplicate
day. That is how important it is to live by every word of God.
114.)
Mr. Nowell doesn’t want
his minister friend to be thrown into the Lake of Fire because of observing
Turkey-god Day.
115.)
For anyone who
celebrates pagan days, he or she will be in the Tribulation, won’t be in the
First Resurrection or the Kingdom and will be thrown into the Lake of Fire.
116.)
Thanksgiving Day honors
Ra-Osiris gods and is a day of gluttony. Psalm
91:12 tells us not to be hard-headed and
walk in our own counsels. We are not to learn the ways of the heathen (Gentiles), Jeremiah 10:2.
We are not to enquire about how nations serve their gods; (we are to) do what
God commands us to do.
117.)
We are supposed to
celebrate God’s feast of ingathering. We are not supposed to disobey Deuteronomy 12:31-32 where it tells us to not add to what God commands us, nor to diminish
from His commands.
118.)
Psalm 81:11 tells us to Hearken (heed) to God’s voice, and walk
with God. And if a person refuses to listen to God’s voice, he turns that
person over to his or her own stubborn heart (own heart’s lusts).
119.)
A person has to be an
incorrigible self-willed brat if God can’t work with you, if you refuse to
follow His Bible manual. Deuteronomy
12:32 says that we are to do what thing
so ever He commands us. We are sanctified (set apart) by truth.
120.)
James 1:27 says, “Pure religion and undefiled before
God and the Father is this… to keep himself unspotted from the
world.”
121.)
Isaiah 53:6 tells that everyone has turned to his own way; and
the Lord has laid on him (Christ) the iniquity of us all. Deuteronomy 12:32,
We are to do what our Lord God commands us. We are sanctified (set apart) from
the world’s ways by the truth, which comprises the commandments of God, without
additions or deletions.
122.)
III John 11 says, “Beloved, follow not that which is evil, but
that which is good. He that doeth good is
of God: but he that doeth evil hath not seen God.”
123.)
We
are not to imitate that which is evil. And we’ve learned how evil Thanksgiving
is, which is not of God.
124.)
Deuteronomy
13:18 tells us to do that which is right
in the eyes of the Lord.
125.)
Micah 4:2 prophesies, “Many nations shall come, and say Come, and let us go up to the mountain of
the Lord…and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for
the law shall go forth of Zion, and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem.”
126.)
We are not
allowed to create our own worship days.
127.)
Germany’s
Heinrich Himmler, chief of the Gestapo, told the German troops, who were mostly
Lutheran, they should be proud of themselves because they overcome their
natural inclination not to slaughter the Jewish people. Himmler told the troops
to disobey God and kill the Jews, a Nazi
idea.
128.)
When a person
breaks God’s Torah, God will slaughter that person!
129.)
Mr. Lawrence A.
Nowell is hoping this sermon is opening our eyes.
130.)
The U. S. A. is
supposed to have been a democracy for 200 years. When did Western women get the
right to vote? It was in the 1920s. The oppressed black people weren’t allowed
anything until the 1970s. They didn’t have any Democratic freedom.
131.)
In Saudi Arabia the women don’t have the right
to vote. And there is suppression of the different groups.
132.)
And all of the
tons of cocaine and drugs that come into the United States are supplied to 307
million people by the CIA (not drug cartels). It is documented the CIA planes
bring in the drugs in order to supply the black gangsters to keep the black
community in bondage and fouled up.
133.)
In the U. S. A.
to this day there is racial profiling and blacks are being suppressed. Does Saudi Arabia have reservations where
they have Indian nations in regions outside major cities like we have in the
United States? The U.S. calls itself a democracy, but we have no rights until Yeshua
comes back.
134.)
The story of
Scripture throughout the Bible is the struggle of truth against lies and good
and evil, and the struggle between false worship or apostate worship, and
indeed, mixed worship and pure worship.
135.)
We want to
rejoice in Yahveh’s ways always. He and the Father will be working with us,
leading us. It says so in John 14:23, which says, “If a man love me (Jesus), he will keep
my words: and my Father will love Him, and we will come unto him, and make our
abode with him.”
136.)
They will be
working in us both to will and to work on behalf of his good pleasure. Philippians 2:13 says, “For it is
God which worketh in you both to will and to do his good pleasure.” We are
reconciled to the Father, and we are motivated to do the will of the Father.
137.)
Psalms 40:8 says, “I delight to do your will, O my God (Elohim);
yea, thy law is within my heart.”
138.)
Jesus said in John 4:23-24,
“But the hour cometh and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the
Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. God
is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in
truth.”
139.)
MEDITATION We need to apply the principles on how to
meditate, and how to have a relationship with Father.
140.)
First, we must
pray for wisdom. Psalm 1:2 says, “His delight is in the law of the Lord; and in
his law doth he meditate day and night.” Meditate on the law.
141.)
We must have our minds
on the Lord. We have to realize that God’s ways are unsearchable. Romans 11:33
says, “O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how
unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out!”
142.)
Verse 34, “For who hath known the mind of the Lord? or who
hath been his counselor?” We can’t tell
God we are going to add a day to his plan.
143.)
People who want to keep
Turkey Days do not know the mind of the Lord. Father would not counsel these
people to have a Ra-Osiris Day added to the seven days of the Feast of
Tabernacles. This counselor is Satan the Devil.
144.)
Romans 11:35 continues, “Or who hath first given to him, and it
shall be recompensed unto him again?”
145.)
The point here is the
wisdom and knowledge of God, which is spiritual. That’s why we have to follow
every jot and tittle. And we want to hone in on that first.
146.)
How are we going to hear
these things if we don’t have a preacher? Romans
10:14 tells, “How then shall we call on
him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom
they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?”
147.)
Mr. Lawrence A. Nowell
has to speak up. In the 1980s he was kept in bondage with the Worldwide Church
of God leaders. He wasn’t allowed to speak up about a cornucopia.
148.)
No. We don’t want to
have any decorations for Thanksgiving. We can have harvest decorations for the
Feast of Tabernacles, but we don’t want to have a cornucopia, the pagan “horn
of plenty.” It is not Christian.
149.)
The solution is
deliverance from the power of sin. John
8:31 says, Then said Jesus to those Jews
which believed on him, ‘If you continue in my word, then are you my disciples
indeed.’ ”(If you abide in my word, you are my disciples.)
150.)
John 8:32, “You shall know the truth, and the truth shall make
you free.”
151.)
The first qualification
is to abide in Deuteronomy 12:32, which is to follow his word. If a person doesn’t abide
in Deuteronomy 12:32, that person is the Devil’s disciple. We must carry out exactly what God commands
us.
152.)
A person can’t be both a
disciple of the Lord and a disciple of the Devil. It has to be one or the
other. We have to be delivered from temptation.
153.)
I Peter 2:11 tells us, “abstain from fleshly lusts, which war
against the soul.”
154.)
We’ve got to overcome
our fleshly desires What’s the big deal about Turkey Day? We can have our
turkey on any other day of the week except Thursday, November 24, 2011. Don’t be enslaved to Turkey Day.
155.)
We want to be delivered
from moral darkness of our world. Ephesians
4:17-19 says, “henceforth walk not as
other Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind, having the understanding
darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in
them, because of the blindness of their heart: who being past feeling have
given themselves over unto lasciviousness (lewdness), to work all uncleanness
with greediness.”
156.)
Keeping turkey Day
dinner reveals greediness for food. They are “alienated from the life of God.”
They are past feeling.
157.)
We must follow ever jot
and tittle of God’s word according to the will of our Father. God planned from
the beginning to not have services that aren’t in the Bible.
158.)
We glorify God at the
Feast of Tabernacles for seven days. So focus on the goodness of our seven days
of the feast, and don’t think about Turkey Day.
159.)
There’s a problem going
on in all the Worldwide Churches of God because they are being apprised of truth and they’re not
responding. They are being told of Turkey Day. They are also being told that
the Sabbath has to be the seventh-day in the whole world, and they are refusing
to follow the Sabbath Day in half of the world. And they are refusing to stop
Mother-goddess Day; they are refusing to stop Sky Father’s Day. They are all
eating of the Tree of the Knowledge of good and evil, the way of Satan.
160.)
Mr. Lawrence A. Nowell
brings to us what is good of the Tree of Life, the way of God. He
believes God can reach us and that’s why he is taking the time to admonish us.
If he didn’t believe God could reach us, why would he bother?
161.)
Mr. Nowell believes God
can reach each of us. He wants everything to go well for us, and this is
important. And that’s why Mr. Nowell is preaching because he wants us to be
able to enter the Holy City. He wants to be there, so we have to be close to
God.
162.)
We won’t be in the Holy
City if we are separated from God. Corrupt ministers will not discuss these
topics, they, instead, will attack the messengers.
They will bash them because they can’t make the argument for keeping the
Sabbath on the sixth-day in half the world. They can’t make the argument for
celebrating Mother-goddess Day or Sky Father’s Day. They can’t make an argument
for Turkey Day without lying about its origin.
163.)
“Ex-Worldwiders” don’t
celebrate Christmas, and yet they try to say it is all right to celebrate
Turkey Day when it has been proven to be pagan. What a contradiction! What a
contradiction!
164.)
Mr. Nowell wants us to
realize how serious this is. He wants to see us in the Kingdom.
165.)
We read at the beginning
of the sermon that outside the city are the dogs and anyone who lies by
practicing a Turkey Day, this person will be outside the city of God’s Kingdom,
Revelation 22:14-15, and anyone who makes a lie, Revelation 21:27.
This applies to any minister who teaches a lie.
166.)
There were people in
Paul’s day who observed the same pagan religions that are around now. Sin will
keep people out of the Kingdom of Heaven, not by what they say but by what they
do. You say you are going to celebrate Turkey Day and that’s what you do,
that’s what is going to keep you out of the Kingdom.
167.)
I Corinthians 6:9 says, “Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not
inherit the kingdom of God?
168.)
Prove you can be
righteous in order to inherit the Kingdom. Think about what a wonderful city we
will be in, that we will inherit. The streets will be paved with gold. We’re
going to sacrifice this for Turkey Day? It wouldn’t make any sense at all.
Follow Yeshua’s Word and be in the Kingdom.
169.)
Think positively. We
aren’t going to have a Turkey Day, but we are going to have a beautiful,
heavenly city. And things are going to work out just fine without Turkey Day.
Read Revelation 21:10-26.
170.)
Follow God’s Word and we
will be in the Kingdom. It is that simple.
171.)
